The standard this year was exceptionally high, and all the competitors were excellent. Congratulations to all.

The Bournemouth One Day Magic Convention
Organised by the Wessex Magical Association is at the Kinson Community Centre, Millhams Lane, Kinson, Bournemouth BH10 7LH. It takes place every 2 years.

The latest Convention took place at the Kinson Community Centre on Sunday April 5th 2009. It was a resounding success. A few pictures and some details are available on this link.

The Wessex Magical Association Dinner 2008
The WMA annual dinner and cabaret was, once again, a wonderful evening. Held on Friday 3rd October 2008 at the Heathlands Hotel in Bournemouth, the cabaret featured Mark Worgan (who made us all laugh with his comedy & magic) and Amethyst (who made us gasp at their illusions).

Many of the club members made the evening truly enjoyable by providing close-up magic at the tables during the evening.
